Tiger at the Gates, by Jean Giraudoux

(adapted by Ray Kostulias)

The play is set in ancient Troy just after Paris has abducted Helen.  The Greeks are threatening vengeance.  Hector, the Trojan general, is determined to avoid the conflict but blood-lust is growing all around him. Will the gates of war remain shut or will they open once again?
This eloquent and powerful drama examines the futility, the seeming inevitability of war and the rationalizing and romanticizing of violence.
Adapted and directed by Ray Kostulias, the play will be performed by a cast of eleven in readers theater format.
